About Jesse Foy

Jesse Foy, Filmmaker, sitting on a rock near water

Captivated by the stunning surroundings of his quaint beach town in Destin, Florida, Jesse Foy picked up a camera at just 10 years old and began documenting the world around him. His early experiments included simple stop-motion LEGO movies in middle school, but by his teens, he was crafting fully scripted short films, often enlisting family members as cast and crew.

In his early 20s, Jesse began his career as an independent freelance photographer and videographer, traveling the globe while creating content for renowned brands like GoPro, Google, LifeProof, Marriott, YOLO Board, Pura Vida, Ralph Lauren, Lokai, and more.

Though his international ventures have slowed down, you can frequently still find Jesse either traveling coast to coast between Florida, LA, and NYC focusing on signed models, his preferred subjects to photograph, or at home behind his laptop working on a screenplay for his next big film project.

Foy’s current objective is to create 10 short films over the next five years—two of which he has already completed, and having achieved numerous accolades on them worldwide. Once this goal is accomplished, he plans on tackling his first full-length film, and then continuing to write and direct features into his golden years.
